Multiple data sources  indicate that students know they are cared for.  Students report they have trusted adults, and they have staff they can go to for assistance. These conditions are essentials for building the foundation for success, and we anticipate that it will transfer to academic success in the future. The schools are widely recognized as safe, inclusive, and supportive with strong teacher-student relationships, multilingual supports, family engagement, and culturally responsive practices. Some inconsistencies in behavioral expectations and access to safety information remain. Consistency in behavior enforcement and family perceptions of being heard and respected show room for improvement. While there appears to be a clear philosophy around behavior expectations and management, there also appears to be some friction between philosophy and practice.

Classroom environments could provide more opportunities for student empowerment and differentiated instruction.
Teachers regularly collaborate with one another to aid students in goal setting, and they have a strong sense of establishing a practice of growth mindset, this was particularly apparent in the elementary school.Student engagement is inconsistent, and students may benefit from being provided with more challenges.
Learning intentions and success criteria are often posted and available.Student understanding and the use of success criteria to engage students in metacognition regarding their own learning are not yet consistent.
